Not a bad place! They have 5 beers on tap, and several guest taps, not to mention B*d, Co@rs, etc.

The 4 beers we tried were

Pale Ale - Not bad - middle of the road
Irish Dry Stout - very good but more like a whiskey barrel stout
Belgian - Laurie liked this one
Honey Blueberry - Not too much fruit, well done

We skipped the Amber

The food varied from cheap to expensive, but what we ordered was good.

They have a mechanical bull, for you adventurous types! :D

We added Ninham fire tower and Mountain Lakes Park as hiking destinations.

I really liked this place.

We had an opportunity to chat with owners Rick and Wendy and here about their extensive backgrounds. The facility shows their experience in many ways, the decor, the menu, the beers, the staff, the plans for the future.

I was quite impressed with the beers. We were not able to chat with the brewer, Mark who was an assist brewer at the Otter. The Belgian Blonde was very well done as was the honey blueberry. The Stout was not what I expected ( listed as a dry Irish Stout), with more character and a pleasant surprise as well. The Pale Ale was well done to style. We look forward to more visits here and more good beer.

Glad to see Putnam County on the map!

May have to get down there and ride the bull plus it's close to the Old Heidelberg.
